A welcome first time
Under the orders of Italo Materno, president of the ABIF and regional Commission URCA ER for the first time an evaluation session of the Sienese trophies was held with the initials SI 23-01 organized perfectly and flawlessly by the new CIC Certified Measurer Alessandro Semplici, local URCA President and representative of the FIdC. Numerous trophies among the best in the area have converged in the city of the Palio, more precisely in the Circolo Casetta Monteaperti, also home to the local shooting gallery. The turnout of certified measurers, mainly from the region and from others, not only guaranteed that all the trophies would be evaluated but not before participating in the conference where Dr. Paolo Varuzza and Dr. Chiara Pucci illustrated "The importance of trophies in the study of populations subject to hunting".
Tibetan wolf
In the parterre the illustrious presence of Professor Sandro Lovari about to leave on a research expedition on the Tibetan wolf and a group of young future researchers.
During the debate, the current picture of selective hunting also emerged with some veiled hints of regret for what such an opportunity could have been for Italian hunting.
The conclusions of the session
Among the numerous interventions were those of the coordinator of the Tuscan ATCs as well as vice president of the Sienese FIdC Franco Cassioli and Gabriele Meacci, URCA Arezzo, who among other things announced his intention to follow up on that of Siena with a commission, historically not the first even in that province. The session concluded in the late afternoon with the drafting of the minutes and the delivery to the owners of the national medals and the related certificates earned from the trophies presented (source: FIDC).
