"Ten bullets through a hole". The philosophy of Joyce Hornady, the founder of the homonymous company based in Grand Island (in the US state of Nebraska), was very precise and devoted to perfection of ammunition. The same reasoning is done today, in the constant search for improvement. Also atIWA Outdoor Classics from Nuremberg the American company has kept its promises by showing high quality products able to satisfy even the most demanding "palates".
During the 2019 edition of the event that has just ended, the group has given great space to new series of Outfitter ammunition. The lead-free GMX bullet charge was tested in sealed and nickel-plated sleeves. This feature allows you to enhance the stamina and corrosion prevention. Furthermore, it is practically impossible for the slightest moisture to enter the mouth of the sleeve.
The operation of the ammunition, therefore, is nothing short of reliable even when conditions are difficult and extreme (obviously when you need lead-free ammunition). The Hornady Outfitter series has been shown in great detail in Germany in recent days: it is available in various calibers, namely .243 Win, 6.5 Creedmoor, .270 Win., .270 WSM, 7mm Rem. Mag., 7 mm WSM, .308 Win, .30-06, .300 WSM, .300 Win. Mag., 375 H & H Mag. E .755 Ruger.
