A century of waiting. John Rigby & Company has waited a long time for the production of a barrel shotgun leaves and the right occasion for the presentation was with the 2019 edition ofIWA Outdoor Classics from Nuremberg. The weapon had been announced some time earlier and was enjoyed and admired live in Germany. The London-based company took two years to bring the final result to life, characterized above all by the shutter that holds the barrels together with the action in three different points.
It is “Rigby Rising Bite”, a rifle with precious decorations representing flying birds and a walnut stock. The oval, on the other hand, was made of silver. The heads of the British company have added other interesting details. In particular, the customization of the second weapon tastes and needs it is one of the aspects to be taken into due consideration.
The engravings are of various types, in addition to the woods used by Rigby, to say the least superior to all the others that are available on the international market. Availability is about various calibers, starting from 12: the price is just under 100 thousand euros, to be precise 79 thousand pounds which is justified by the fact that this shotgun is collectible and luxury.
