The Dog Groups of the Vallesina need Ancona they organized for the weekend of Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 March 2016 practice hunting tests on natural game CAC-CACIT (the two famous dog lovers certificates): this is not a race like any other, as for the National FIDASC (Italian Federation of Sporting Arms for Hunting) it will be valid for the acquisition of the score valid for the composition of the national representatives in international commitments. The interest in the event is therefore of a certain level. The tests will take place in Restocking and Capture Areas San Paolo di Jesi-Castelfidardo-Ostra-Osimo, in the province of Ancona.
The final rule provides in this case that the final ranking will be drawn up on the basis of score acquired by the sport dog with the same auxiliary. Furthermore, the same sports dog cannot participate with one or more pairs in these tests. The first test is scheduled for Saturday 12 March and will concern the acquisition of the ranking score for the categories "Italian Free Continentals", "Continental Free" and "English Free". On Sunday 13 March, the same categories will be the protagonists of the second round scheduled. The prizes will be awarded to the first three classified of each single heat.
As communicated by the organizers, the meeting was set at 6:30 precisely at the farmhouse in Via Roncaglia in Jesi. As for the rules to be respected, the ENCI regulation will be in force (Italian National Dog-loving Body) for the trials of pointing dogs: all the subjects who participate must be equipped with the appropriate qualification booklet. For "natural game" we mean that which is usually hunted with the pointing, sedentary or migratory dog: examples are those of the pheasant, partridge, red partridge, Sardinian partridge, rock partridge, quail, woodcock, snipe, croccolone, colander, francolin, tetranoids, as well as the variable hare.
According to the ENCI, recently released game cannot be considered suitable. In the performances the judges will evaluate above all the typical gait of the breed, more or less fast in any case depending on the nature of the terrain. Pointing dogs will be required to maintain constant contact with the handler and to be obedient to his calls. The firm must be solid, decisive and expressive, while the qualifying dogs will always be subjected to the retrieve test according to the rules established by the Authority. The performance of the shares for hunting purposes cannot be forgotten among the judgment criteria adherence to the typical style of the breed, fundamental for the score and the final classification of the tests.
