An established movement
Last June 2, as is customary on an annual basis, in the dog training area of limbiate, headquarters of the local Federcaccia section, the Lady Trophy test was held, organized by the well-established movement of female hunters FIDC, a practical quail hunting competition. The competition attracted a considerable number of competitors who, from all over Lombardy, set up over 40 test rounds on this beautiful stage with their auxiliaries, having to unravel the crux of a rather fickle and ever-changing wind effluvium.
Hunting attitudes
The competition was held under the aegis of the judging team formed by Mariliano Mazzoleni, Fiorenzo Cortinovis and Pietro Erario, and highlighted dogs with good or even excellent hunting aptitudes. Already the fact of having gathered so many representatives of the fair sex to carry out an activity that is not really common among women's quotas has made this event a success, endorsed by the president of FIdC Milan and the vice president of the Lombardy Region Luca Agnelli and the vice president of FIdC Milan Maurice Masiero.
A beautiful excursus
The impeccable organization, managed by the head of the Federcaccia Lombardia game huntresses Cristiana Preti and her collaborator Deborah Savoia, aided by the indestructible manager of the game, Gianmarco Bianchi, ensured that the race continued smoothly and quickly, interrupted around noon by a beautiful excursus: the practical demonstration of the retrieving work trials for dogs of group 8, in particular Labrador Retrievers, masterfully dressed by Mrs. Francesca Costi, closely followed by the demonstration of truffle hunting dogs, led by the group led by Mrs. Mrs Chiara Pollastri. The astonishment of those present was tangible: although all the spectators were accustomed to working with dogs, seeing how varied the specializations of our four-legged friends can always be has a certain effect. At the end of the test, the judges drew up a ranking which, despite everything, does not diminish the value of our less fortunate darlings who are unable to enter it (source: FIDC).
