A weekend to remember
In the end, literally “To a good end”: this is the phrase – in old French – clearly imprinted on the coat of arms of Fagnano Olona and the clay pigeon shooting which is located right in the town in the province of Varese that can take advantage of this auspicious phrase in view of the weekend that will begin tomorrow. It will in fact be a weekend full of events, with one appointment more exciting than the other.
Final barrages
In fact, enthusiasts will be able to attend the final of the Olympic Trench circuit, the final of the Compak circuit and the “Hunter’s Weekend” (Cacciarella). August 31st and September 1st will therefore be full days, with September 1st itself chosen as the ideal moment to carry out all the final barrages for the assignment of the majority prizes.
The history of the TAV
TAV Fagnano has a history that is nothing short of intriguing. The first field, built by local shooters and hunters, was built way back in 1956 with a universal pit that was later expanded. Today, 4 Olympic Pit and Hunting Trail fields are accessible to all shooters. In addition to hosting provincial, regional and national level competitions, the facility aims to introduce young people (aged 12 to 20) to this fantastic sporting discipline by organizing courses to begin or improve their practice and experience of clay pigeon shooting.
