Officially started there wild boar hunting in Valsassin e Valvarrone, in the province of Lecco. The start of the hunting of ungulates was characterized by the killing of a male of over one quintal of weight, even if they will be more than 200 the leaders that will be hunted over the next few months. Most of the total (165 specimens to be precise) will be demolished in the Valvarrone area, while another 45 will concern the valsassinese territory.
The Lombardy Region has officially authorized this levy after having ascertained the damage caused in the woods and fields. The opening also represents a very interesting novelty, given that the Province of Lecco has regularly denied hunting, focusing instead on cages, the shooting down by the provincial policemen and the turns. The problem, however, has not been solved and now we rely on this solution.
The culls will last until next December 17th and the hunters will receive two bracelets each for the catches. The endorsement will instead become effective from the beginning of December. The number of wild boars to hunt is very ambitiouseven if it will not be easy to achieve such a result, complete eradication is considered downright impossible.
