Highly anticipated by hunters, Leica camera AG (Wetzlar) presents the new Leica Rangemaster CRF 2700-B - which again breaks the measurement power record, updating it to the limit distance of 2470 meters (2700 yards). The CRF 2700-B, like its predecessors of which it retains its appearance, dimensions, weight, optics and measurement system, boasts the renowned ABC ballistics system® (Advanced Ballistic Compensation), thanks to which it is possible to easily program the instrument to obtain the compensated distance with site angle, temperature and altitude (up to 1100 meters away), the elevation or the number of clicks to give to the turret of any telescope (up to 870 meters).
Most importantly, thanks to the integration of a microSD memory card slot, users can now upload their own ballistic data and external conditions at the time of weapon calibration, including altitude, and thus have in a fraction of a according to very precise measurements based on the ball used. Exactly as has been the case for years in the binoculars of the Geovid HD-B series.
Other important innovations of the CRF 2700-B compared to the previous model are the completely new LED display, even sharper and equipped with more information about the function in use, able to show measurements with decimeters up to 200 meters and update the distance. in scan mode every half second.
