In four days, Thursday 13 April 2017, will meet the Third Commission for Productive Activities, Culture, Training, Work of Regional Council of Liguria. At 10 the discussions will begin and they will have an agenda different topics concerning hunting. Going into more detail, we will talk about the Bill 138, which has to do with the changes to the Regional Law 29 of 1994 (“Regional regulations for the protection of homeothermic fauna and for hunting”).
The objective is to repeal the last sentence of paragraph 7 bis of article 34 of the regulatory text, since it allows the extension of the stalking hunting for migratory game up to thirty minutes after sunset. There will then be room for the proposed resolution 33 concerning the modification of the National Hunting Law. Finally, the agenda also includes an opinion on the proposed regional hunting calendar for the 2017-2018 season.
The last season was characterized by some turbulent legal situations: the Regional Administrative Court made a number of comments on the starling hunt, by imposing a freeze on the sampling and forcing the Region to launch a new measure to reopen hunting in derogation.
