New amendments
"This law will go very quickly, not needing ministerial opinions already acquired. It will have to have them on the new amendments, I hope that the opposition forces do their job, but do it to improve the text, not to stop it".
The Senate Examination
This was stated by Agriculture Minister Francesco Lollobrigida regarding the hunting law reform currently being considered by the Senate at the conference organized by the CIA – Italian Farmers dedicated to "The Future of Wildlife in Italy: From Crisis to Reform."
Parliamentary debate
And referring to the parliamentary debate he added: "This is the only appeal I make to the opposition political forces, I make it here publicly so that we can reason on the merits, that is, say 'this is wrong on the merits' and if we are convinced we will change it, if this is right I will approve it anyway, I am not looking for easy consensus from those who do not have problems with wild fauna because perhaps they live here in the historic center and therefore have never seen a wild boar or probably an agricultural field, except perhaps during some Sunday trip to a luxury farmhouse" concluded the minister (Source ASKANEWS).
