THELombard Hunters Association (ACL) welcomed the approval of the motion on the hunting notwithstanding in the Regional Council. The news was received as a much awaited positive note after so many negative updates. At this point the hunting levy in derogation is decidedly closer, but the road is still considered uphill. With this motion the council was asked to adopt a resolution authorizing the hunting notwithstanding the starling, the finch and the brambling as regards the hunting season 2016-2017.
The surgery was done by Alessandro Sala (“Maroni Presidente” group), first signatory and regional councilor, together with Fabio Rolfi, adviser of the Northern League. The two councilors expressed all their satisfaction at the fact that the appeal was accepted.
The vote in favor of the classroom is an important commitment, with the council that will have to appeal to the Court of Justice of the European Union in the event of appeals against the resolution. What was needed was clarity and it finally arrived. As pointed out by the directors Sala and Rolfi: "Once and for all you can either hunt these species or you will know that there is nothing to be done. This is what hunters are asking, every year waiting in vain for answers on the matter".
