«We already know that it will be an unusual World Cup, but we are optimistic - summarizes Ivan Carella, president of the organizing committee - We do not have, nor can we have, a complete picture of how the situation will be, but we are ready to face it. We will have to adapt, be flexible, make sacrifices, but this is also one of the many positive messages that sport sends to the world. From ours we have: a national federation which, thanks to the constant commitment of our president Luciano Rossi, has never spared itself; of the Institutions, starting from the municipal one and then rising in rank, which have always supported us; Partners who, even in the darkest periods, have remained by our side; a tested and cohesive organizational machine. We are committed to strengthening the hi-tech dynamics and to create a path towards the future capable of guaranteeing the carrying out of events of this magnitude in complete safety, guaranteeing their spectacularity. This is an important organizational challenge that we can and want to win. Under every aspect".
