The European Game Meat Week 2024 saw a unique collaboration between members of FACE – the Federation of European National Hunting Associations – to promote game meat as a sustainable and ethical food choice that supports the conservation of wildlife and cultural heritage. During the week of 4-10 November, FACE members promoted the benefits of game meat with the hashtag #GameMeatWeek. It has reached almost 2 million views on social media.
Biodiversity and local culture
To celebrate this success, FACE members from different countries brought a selection of game meat to the European Parliament, where they were warmly welcomed by MEPs. MEPs strongly expressed the message that the European Game Meat Week has brought together different voices to celebrate the role of game meat in sustainable living, biodiversity and local culture.

During Game Meat Week, FACE members committed to promoting the value of game meat through a wide network of communication channels and social media platforms. The success of this initiative reflects the dedication and enthusiasm of hunters, conservationists and food lovers (source: FACE).
