Distances from the Region
With a joint press release, the Marche hunting associations Federcaccia, Liberacaccia, Enalcaccia and ANUUMigratoristi stigmatize the Region's work in the hunting field, without hesitating to define the Marche “From a reference region for hunting to the last one not to be taken as an example”.
Be on the side of the hunters
Below is the text of the note: “The undersigned hunting associations Federcaccia, Liberacaccia, Enalcaccia, ANUUMigratoristi express strong dissatisfaction with the early closure of the hunt for some important species and do not agree with what has been done (or not done) by the Region in this regard. Being on the side of hunters does not mean that one must do everything that hunting enthusiasts would like, but rather build regulatory paths, accompanied by the necessary technical-scientific studies, to seize the opportunities that European Directives and national laws offer; that is, doing the exact opposite of those who are against hunting and therefore work to implement (avoidable) restrictions and bans which can easily lead many to abandon the hunting practice. In a very short time the Marche Region has gone from an activity, lacking studies and scientific research but aimed at seizing the opportunities of hunting discipline, an activity which has to some extent satisfied the expectations of hunters for years, to what seems to be a stubborn action to pursue every avenue of restriction".
Appeals to the TAR
“It is clear to everyone that today there are Italian regions that manage to have hunting calendars that are much more complex and broader, albeit balanced, than that of the Marche Region, also successfully supporting their reasons before the regional administrative courts . In any case, they carry out a constant activity of building actions and deeds aimed at obtaining the best result. Why doesn't the Marche Region do it? Why does the Marche Region limit itself to taking note of Ispra's opinions when instead all the other Regions pour out energy and technical-scientific resources to refute them? If the Marche Region, guiltily due to its total inertia in the last twenty or more years, believes that it does not have its own studies capable of supporting a comparison with the Ispra opinions because it does not make use of it, as other Regions do and as expected by them Community directives, available studies produced by other suitable subjects and validated by renowned experts? Above all, why doesn't it quickly make up for the time lost by the inert, past administrations of the Region and decide to quickly invest and organize its own study and research activity to have suitable documentation to use, as other Italian Regions do?!” .
Nothing prejudicial
From what has been said above we can only conclude that the Marche Region is in words with the hunters, but in reality it is not! And don't respond by way of justification by bringing up the opinion (although mandatory) or the activities of the Offices! Who governs in the Marche? Does the council govern or do the offices govern? We are waiting for concrete answers from this Council of our Region, answers of action and not chatter, we have already had those in the past and they have delivered us to the current unacceptable situation! President, Councilor, entire Council, show us with your actions that you are different and better than those who preceded you. We hunters do not ask for and do not want anything prejudicial or potentially prejudicial for nature, for the Marche ecosystem and for the environment in general; we only want what science and knowledge can give us with total respect for the environment in which we live. Deploy the necessary resources to urgently equip yourself with the necessary scientific studies. You can do it. Do it. Otherwise the rest is fluff (The Marche AA.VV. Federcaccia, Liberacaccia, Enalcaccia, ANUUMigratoristi).
