On 17 January 2023 - even if the deadline will most likely be extended - the deadline for registrations for the VI Edition of the Master in Wildlife Administration and Management academic year 2022-23 at the Ca' Foscari University of Venice. The master offers teachings that allow to combine skills in the subjects of biology, law, economics and ethics, fundamental aspects for the formation of figures capable of making informed choices in the field of wildlife management, today fundamental for a hunt sustainable. The Italian Hunting Federation, which recognizes the necessary value of scientific knowledge for the correct management of fauna and has been involved in research for several years, is included among the Institutions where the Master's students can carry out the internship foreseen among the activities of the course .
Economic and social impacts
Knowledge of biology and zoology, skills for calculating economic and social impacts and also the ability to analyze ethical aspects are fundamental for managing the faunal heritage and the ecosystem more generally, because management choices can affect the well-being of the animal or lead to the sacrifice of individuals and populations. Finally, it is essential to know how to orient oneself in the legal world in which every planning, programming or other type of decision inevitably takes its place. The master is designed to train a technician capable of operating a sustainable management of wildlife. The teachers are university professors who represent leading figures of the Academy in their own disciplines. Speeches by the leading experts among the operators in the sector are also foreseen. Graduates of the Master will be able to work in public bodies, Italian and European companies, associations, or carry out freelance consultancy activities.

The Master has made available 2 scholarships, for the amount of 1.900,00 Euros each, valid for the second enrollment installment. It is possible to follow the entire course remotely and lessons will start on 10 February 2023, on Friday full day and Saturday morning only.
