As happens every Monday, the association ANUUMigrators updated the reports on the migration pass at theFEIN ornithological observatory in Arosio, in the province of Como. The weekly pass from the 13 19 November was characterized by continuity, so much so that this year will be remembered for a long time for presence of the redwing. The bird, in fact, is still accompanying the ringers of the Lombard structure with its pleasant presence and the same must be said for the Cesena.
The large turdids are practically at the top as regards the autumn step and bad weather did not negatively affect the trend just described. No definitive conclusions can be drawn yet, but no doubt one will not easily forget the return after many years of the frosone, in addition to lucarini and finches.
As for the larks, the analysis must be related to the favorable climate and the management of the territory, following the maize and rice harvesting. The weekly note of the ANUU concludes by recalling the excellent presence of the wood pigeon and the beloved woodcock.
