Like every Monday, the association ANUUMigrators reported the latest updates on the migration step relating to theFEIN Ornithological Observatory of Arosio (Como). Last October 15, the day in which Santa Teresa is celebrated (in the past it was called "thrushes in expanse"), another abundant presence of song thrushes, as well as the 18 and 19.
In particular, the third peak of this autumn was still very hot. The ringed song thrushes are so far 1300, confirming a species in excellent health. Equally positive news came from abroad, such as in Greece, in which the bird has made its migration especially in the morning hours. Going back to talking about Arosio, the presence of robins and blackcaps it was good, despite a small decline compared to the past.
On the contrary, the frosoni and siskins have increased compared to previous years, without forgetting that blackbirds and brambles are more and more frequent. As for wood pigeons and finches, then, the flights are small or numerous, it all depends on the area. Finally, the contingents of larks, linnet, pipit and spioncelli arrived, while i mallards they are often accompanied by teals.
