The association ANUUMigrators has updated, as happens every week, the note relating to migratory step at the ringing station of Arosio, in the province of Como. In the last week between August and September there was a slight movement of all the summers before the disturbance on Friday 31 August, with particular reference to the Black Balia, the Flycatcher and the Beccafico which presented itself in a positive way in mid-August.
In this circumstance it should be noted in some areas of the Lombard Prealps a good presence of Prispolone, especially between Wednesday 30th and Thursday 31st August. The return of good weather, accompanied by the heat, once again slowed down the migratory movement that had accentuated at the end of the month. Now at the FEIN Ornithological Observatory in Arosio it is waiting for the ringing of the first Song Thrush in post-nuptial migration. In fact this turdid, in some areas of medium hill, has already been observed.
In this regard, the situation of the migratory phenomenon will be continuously coordinated by the FEIN Arosian station which will collect the news of the most attentive shed operators - who carefully look after their fixed posting all year round - together with the European Observatories, to then insert them in the weekly reports of the ANUU Migrators through its Environmental Protection and Ornithological Research Coordination Office.
