"Full success for the Paladini del Territory operation" launched by UNA foundation (Man Nature Environment) and in collaboration with the municipality of Montelupone, the local section of Federcaccia and with the patronage of Legambiente. Hunters and citizens deeply linked to their territory, many met at the camper area of San Firmano where the jackets were given to them, the hats offered by the UNA foundation, bags and gloves to clean the banks of the Potenza river adjacent to the Abbey of San Firmano, for a length of approximately 4 km.
Everyone did their utmost, despite the strong heat, to recover the material abandoned by uncivilized (glass and plastic bottles, bags, tires…) and then take this waste to the eco-center of the municipality of Montelupone. Unfortunately, asbestos waste and the Federcaccia Voluntary Hunting Guards were also found, in this case they notified the Provincial Police for the due fulfillment of the case.
Present for the day were the mayor of Montelupone Giordano Elisei, the environmental councilor Giada Giorgetti, the provincial president Federcaccia Nazzareno Galassi, the regional coordinator of young hunters Elia Viviani, the municipal presidents Federcaccia of Civitanova Marche and Petriolo Massimiliano Nociaro and Michele Merola. The accession of many volunteers and the involvement of institutions, highlights the interest and commitment to the environment and its protection in order to safeguard the biodiversity that characterizes our territory (source: Hunting Federation).
