Unexpected cancellation
We report what was published on Facebook by Federcaccia Lombardia in the last few hours: "Very serious situation, the Lombardy TAR with a sentence published today has canceled the measures to identify the crossings prohibited for hunting. The Director General of ISPRA has been appointed commissioner for their identification and will have to take action within 150 days".
An unacceptable sentence
The note continues: “In the meantime, all 42 crossing points mentioned in the preparatory documents have been banned. This is an unacceptable sentence given the investigation that the Region had carried out to correctly identify the crossing points in the orthographic sense and relevance of migrations".
The previous one from 4 years ago
This is the appeal presented by LAC (League for the Abolition of Hunting), not new to these situations. In fact, in 2020 some important crossings in the province of Brescia were identified and approved: Sella di Mandro, Valico di Capovalle, Passo del Tonale, Passo Crocedomini, Monte della Piana and Malga Mola, where all hunting lodges had to be definitively revoked and established a hunting ban for a radius of 1.000 metres.
