The accusations against the Province of Trento
The former minister continued: "I believe that the president of the Autonomous Province of Trento, Maurizio Fugatti, is not very interested in the facts. What he is interested in is killing another bear and I am sure he will do everything he can. We will do everything we can to prevent him from doing so."
“An Unrealizable Dream”
The president of the Inter-Parliamentary Group for Animal Rights finally added: “Sooner or later, in Trentino, will someone realize that Fugatti's dream of killing all the bears is unrealizable? Will someone realize that the world now speaks of Trentino not for its extraordinary natural beauty, but as the land where bears are first reintroduced and then killed? Will someone understand that culling is useless?”.
