National Ball Shooting Championship, great participation in Contursi Terme (SA)

The National ENALCACCIA BALL SHOOTING Championship took place with great participation in Contursi Terme, in the province of Salerno on 13 and 14 June 2015.

The ENALCACCIA national final, organized by the Provincial Section of Salerno, with the patronage of the Municipality of Contursi Terme, took place on the field with the shape of the boar mobile, set up inside the ZAC (Dog Training Area) at the Gerardo Brogna Company, in the Piana area of the Municipality of Contursi. The competition, which took place over two days, saw the participation of 150 shooters from all over Italy, who competed in two categories, single category and team category. Great satisfaction from the President, Prof. Dino Torre, for the brilliant success of the event. "A very high level competition, declared President Torre, a moment of sport and healthy competition that also allowed the comparison between different realities sharing the same passions." Thanks, the President Torre, addressed it, in particular to the Municipality of Contursi and to the Brogna Company for the hospitality; to the organizers, the referees and the Shooting Director for the excellent organization; to a large group of shooters from Perugia and all the participants.

ITALIAN ENALCACCIA CHAMPION was awarded the very young MATTIA ORLANDI, coming from PERUGIA, with 28 points, to whom, as first place, a splendid “Double Slug cal. 12 ”, entirely Made in Italy product of the Basilicata Armi Factory, D'Acunto Group of Potenza.

Second place, Mr. Cosimo Velella, from Campagna, with 25 points.
Third place, Mr. Antonio Freda, from Sala Consilina, with 24 points.
Fourth place, Mr. Francesco D'Ambrosio, from Campagna, with 24 points.
Fifth place, Mr. Felice Brogna, from Contursi Terme, with 23 points.
Sixth place, Mr. Pasquale Merola; seventh was Mr. Orazio Viola.

For the team category, the splendid ENALCACCIA TROPHY went to the home team, FIRST PLACE, made up of Felice Brogna, Salvatore Brogna and Federico Ricca, who also received medals and a diploma of "ENALCACCIA CHAMPION TEAM". Second classified team, the one made up of Marco Broccatelli, of Trevi, Michele Loccioni, of Trevi, Michele Bizzarri, of Foligno and Daniele Marchetti of Massa Martana, awarded by the President of the Municipal Council of Contursi Terme with a splendid cup offered by the Municipality. Third place team, that of Gerardo Taglianetti, Romualdo Santalucia and Nicola La Manna, all from Contursi Terme.

As evidence of the local hunting world, the Presidents of the Territorial Areas of Hunting of Salerno, Dr. Guglielmo Storti and Dr. Armando Liguori, the Vice President of Enalcaccia Matteo Faella, the Provincial Councilor Giuseppe D'Amato and the provincial presidents of Italcaccia Domenico Della Corte and of EPS Antonello D'Acunto.
