The Prime Minister signed the new DPCM to contrast the spread of Covid 19, a painful but necessary measure to protect public health.
THIS IS THE SUMMARY OF THE NEW DPCM, IN FORCE FROM 24.00 ON THURSDAY 5 NOVEMBER, IN REFERENCE TO THE EFFECTS ON THE VENATORY ACTIVITY
The new provision divides Italy into three areas, with increasing levels of restrictions as the number of infections increases. There are no specific indications on hunting, but of course, mobility restrictions also affect hunters. In all areas, it will be forbidden to leave your home before 5.00 am, a provision that significantly penalizes the movement of hunters, especially hunts that need to arrive on the site long before dawn. In addition, in the orange areas, you will not be able to leave your Municipality except for work, health reasons or to access services that cannot be found in the territory of residence, another important limitation. In the red areas, unfortunately, you will not be able to leave the house except to go to work, for health reasons or for absolute necessity. A condition that in fact jeopardizes the performance of the hunting activity.
This is the current division of the peninsula into the three zones, which may be modified as the infectiousness index changes by the Government:
RED AREAS: Lombardy, Piedmont, Valle d'Aosta, Calabria
ORANGE AREAS: Puglia, Sicily
YELLOW ZONES: Abruzzo, Basilicata, Campania, Friuli, Lazio, Liguria, Marche Molise, Sardinia, Tuscany, Umbria, Veneto, Trento, Bolzano, Emilia Romagna
