We report below the latest note from the hunting association Arci Caccia: “We have discovered, from the news spread by some specialized sites, that the Ministry of the Interior has communicated that, starting from January 2025, the payment of the gun license booklet (hunting and clay pigeon shooting) and for the issue of the European firearms card must be made exclusively by bank transfer to "Tesoreria dello Stato" on the following IBAN: IT64F0100003245BE00000000VM, the same for all Police Headquarters in Italy. The amount would remain unchanged, which is equal to 1,27 euros for the gun license booklet and 0,83 euros".
Bank fees
"Our association, awaiting official communications, is pleased with the simplification, which is always positive. At the same time, it wants to bring the Ministry's attention to the problem of a payment that, although it varies between 83 and 127 cents, can require bank commissions higher than the requested cost."
Government concession fee
"To this end, we urge the Ministry of the Interior to take action to find an alternative solution that simplifies and is not burdensome for users. For example, the government concession tax could be increased by a few cents, reaching, in the five years of validity of the gun license, the figure of €1,27."
