ANUUMigratoristi has updated its weekly notes on the pass, speaking of the week that went from 3 to 9 October as an exciting time. In particular, this sentiment was aroused by thrushes, blackcaps and robins, with an important peak on Wednesday 6th. There is now great interest in the finches and flounder fucks. In some areas, the first redwing thrush has been sighted and the same goes for the Cesena, even if it is simple signs.
The next few days, on the other hand, will inevitably be influenced by the high pressure, firmly established in Scandinavia and responsible for prevailing conditions of stability. Central Europe and the Balkan peninsula will have a cold depression condition. For a greater presence of birds it will be necessary to have a sort of "preferential channel" between the two conditions just mentioned.
The avifauna news is not yet relevant for what concerns the hawfinch (their absence stands out), without forgetting the slight presence of siskin, larks and pipits. In the high hills, woodcock harvesting has begun, while snipe are still on the run. Finally, teals and pintails are the most observed anatids in the last period, a bit like what is happening for wood pigeons.
