The center that will host the event
From Lonato del Garda, where the third ISSF World Cup event recently concluded , international sport shooting moves to Hanzhou (CHN) for the fourth and final ISSF World Cup in Clay Shooting and Target Shooting. The competitions will be hosted at the Fuyang Yinhu Sports Centre in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, which is already ready to welcome the 684 registered participants representing 58 countries. For Clay Shooting, the first to depart will be the Skeet specialists led by Technical Director Luigi Lodde, who are traveling to China today.
Who will compete for Skeet
Competing in the men's competition will be Tammaro Cassandro (Carabinieri) from Caserta (CE), Nicolò Sodi (Air Force) from Arezzo, and Marco Coco (Fiamme Oro) from Ardea (RM), and the women's competition will be Giada Longhi (Fiamme Oro) from Longone Sabino (RI), Martina Maruzzo (Army) from Nanto (VI), and Simona Scocchetti (Army) from Tarquinia (VT). Their first official training session is scheduled for Tuesday, July 21st, while the competition will take place on Wednesday, July 22nd and Thursday, July 23rd, with 75 clays on the first day and 50 clays plus a final on the second.
Olympic pit
The Italian Olympic Trap Team, led by Technical Director Marco Conti, will also arrive in Hangzhou on the 21st, accompanied by Federal Coach Fabrizio Satolli. Starting Saturday, July 25th, the men's team will include Mauro De Filippis (Fiamme Oro) from Taranto, Massimo Fabbrizi (Carabinieri) from Monteprandone (AP), and Giovanni Pellielo (Fiamme Azzurre) from Vercelli, and the women's team will include Alessia Iezzi (Carabinieri) from Manoppello (PE), Erica Sessa (Fiamme Oro) from Cava de' Tirreni (SA), and Martina Grioni (Carabinieri) from Garlasco (PV).
