Wildlife control
“The Region recognizes the exemption from the annual quota to those hunters who play a role as coadjutors, thus participating in the control of the spread of wild fauna, including invasive species that cause damage to agriculture and undermine hydraulic safety, like nutria“. This is the announcement that Fabio Bergamini, outgoing regional councilor and candidate of the League, will make at the Bar Tiffany in Corso del Guercino 52b in Cento, Sunday, November 3 at 19 pm.
Agriculture and hydraulic safety
In the debate, in the context of an electoral aperitif, various topics will be addressed. From the hospital of Cento, which the League intends to defend from cuts, to agriculture and hydraulic safety, both threatened by the spread of species such as coypu. "In our province - Bergamini highlighted - there are many hunters who perform their role as assistants for free. An activity particularly appreciated by farmers, but despite this, assistants must provide for some expenses, insurance and charges, such as the annual fee for the 'regional concession', which is currently set at 66,62 euros".
An unfair tax
Bergamini defined it as "an unfair tax that indiscriminately affects even those who collaborate with the Province in the fight against invasive species. I intend to involve all the trade associations to work on the exemption of this quota, as a first important signal".
