Second edition
University professors, regional directors and managers and exponents of the world of politics and institutions: the general states of the contrast to the emergency linked to the wildlife in Puglia. Starting at 9:30, in the “Le Grotte di Sileno” farmhouse in the Castellanetana district of the same name, the second edition of an event entitled «Wildlife in Puglia» will be held, organized by Cia Agricoltori Italiani di Puglia to discuss and make known to everyone the latest news on the management and containment of wild fauna.
A new phase
With the programmatic document recently approved by the Puglia Region, in fact, a new phase is about to begin aimed at more effectively combating this emergency. An emergency that unfortunately continues to cause significant damage to agriculture and livestock farming in Puglia, putting human lives in danger. The initial greetings will be given by the mayor of Castellaneta Gianni Di Pippa, by Vito Rubino and Pietro De Padova, respectively director and president of CIA Area Due Mari and by Nicola Decaro, director of the Department of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Bari.
The main interventions
After the introduction by the president of CIA Puglia and vice president of CIA Nazionale Gennaro Sicolo, speakers will include Domenico Campanile (director of the Sustainable Management and Protection of Forestry and Natural Resources Section of the Puglia Region), Antonio Camarda (full professor of the Department of Veterinary Medicine UniBa), Onofrio Mongelli (director of the Promotion of Health and Well-being Section of the Puglia Region) and Francesco Paolicelli (president of the IV Commission of the Puglia Regional Council). The conclusions will finally be entrusted to the regional councilor for Agriculture Donato Pentassuglia. The event, moderated by the regional deputy vice president of CIA Puglia Giannicola D'Amico, is free to access until all seats are taken, but to allow everyone to listen to the speakers' speeches, a live streaming will be broadcast on the Facebook page of CIA Agricoltori Italiani Puglia.
