“Stop wasting time, President Conte summons the State-Regions Conference and respects art. 19 bis of state law 157/92. I intervened with a Question to the Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte and to the Minister for Regional Affairs and Autonomies Francesco Boccia to ask if they do not intend to convene the State-Regions Conference, whose deadline expired on 10 June, to allow the Regions that have submitted regular request to apply the derogation regime, to be able to receive the allocation of the maximum quantities that can be taken for the species subject to the derogation.
It should be remembered that the derogations are an instrument made available to the Member States by the European Union, in order to derogate from the general prohibitions for all those species that are considered to be in a good state of conservation. They concern traditional forms of hunting strongly rooted in the Italian territory and also represent an effective tool for protecting agricultural cultures from damage caused by the excessive presence of some species of wild fauna which, although not considered normally huntable, can be taken in derogation pursuant to of the community directive 147/2009 and art. 19 bis of the state law 157/92. Once again this government does not respect the rights of a category, that of the Hunters, to which I am honored to belong and which we remember very well only when we have to harass it with a thousand taxes and duties.
The Hunters do not ask for contributions or gifts, but simply the respect of the law by a forgetful Government when it suits them and that forgets that we Hunters, in compliance with the law, in order to exercise the hunting activity we pay every year into the State coffers. , with the payment of the government tax alone, over 120 million euros. In that case, the current Executive proves to know very well the existence of hunting enthusiasts, only to forget them when it comes to giving them what they deserve. A hypocritical behavior that characterizes the entire government activity and that Conte and his companions have shown to apply to almost all categories of taxpayers, but now the measure is full and we will no longer allow the rights of Italian Hunters to continue to be ignored.
We do not ask that we take care of us even with the same attention with which illegal immigrants were treated in the approval of the infamous amnesty, but we would simply "be content" with being treated as citizens who have duties and rights. It would be enough for the State to respect the provisions of art. 19 bis of the state law 157/92. We do not ask for anything more, but given the way the current interlocutor operates, we suspect that we are asking too much ".
This is what the Hon. Maria Cristina Caretta, deputy of the Brothers of Italy.
