Arci Caccia Piedmont sent a long letter to the Region to highlight the distortions and criticalities contained in the provision issued by the body to counter the ASF epidemic. Volunteers engaged in containment operations, due to many red tape and inadequate regulations, they will find themselves fighting with blunt weapons, while time is lost between fences and manhole covers which will cost enormous sums to build and which will require an effort to maintain and manage beyond the possibilities of Piedmontese hunters.
Arci Caccia, while declaring itself ready to collaborate with the Region to try to put an end to this emergency can only accept the request of the CAs and ATCs of Turin who have asked for explanations and clarifications on a text that requires a great deal of commitment from operators who, it must be remembered, are volunteers, without giving clarifications for the disposal of the remains, compliance with health and safety requirements for operations and operators.
