The categories in the competition
Sunday 1st December, at the Collacchioni Federal Area in Pieve Santo Stefano in the province of Arezzo, the third Coppa Italia for hunting dogs was held, an excellent test with shooting reserved for spaniels. There are two categories: “Garisti”, reserved for competitors who with their assistant had obtained the qualification of “Excellent” in the previous tests, and “Cacciatori”, for dogs who in the preliminary stages had obtained the qualification of “Very good”.
Demolitions and carryovers
The test, which involved the killing of the game by an official shooter, was characterized by many encounters followed by as many kills and retrievals. Despite the particularly cold and windy day, thanks to the Collacchioni dog staff coordinated by Giovanni Giusti, Provincial President of the Arezzo Hunting Federation, and by Domenico Coradeschi, everything went well.
Perfect organization
The “Garisti” category was judged by Maurizio Masiero, while the “Cacciatori” category was judged by Fabrizio Muccioli. The secretariat, as usual, was managed by Cosimo Colucci. Great satisfaction for the success of the event was expressed by Delegate Luigi Chiappetta, who did not fail to extend thanks to all the participants – in particular to the only “Lady” in the race Elena Villa – and to the official sponsors Canicom and Mister Mix, for the precious support provided to the entire National Sports Commission of Federcaccia (source: FIDC).
