This year the unusual weather conditions unfortunately, for this time of the year they do not seem to leave much room for maneuver for the season dedicated to events on the calendar, already underway for some time, where our passion meets and becomes a cultural exchange, as well as a way to be together in conviviality. The Club of the Florentine Wood Pigeon it started as early as the end of March, taking part in the Spring Bird Fair in Terranuova Bracciolini (AR); Sunday 13 May, on the occasion of the surprise re-edition of the historic one Ruralia Fair in Pratolino (FI), we did not miss our punctual participation also and above all in representation of the CCT (Confederation of Tuscan Hunters), always present and sensitive in the intent to unite all the hunters and the realities of the hunting and rural Tuscan world.

On Sunday 19 May in Impruneta (FI), despite the incessant rain, the ninth Feast of the Colombaccio took place which was characterized by the indomitable passion and dedication of the organizers and breeders, who in every way and against any meteorological adversity, wanted to create a race appreciated by all visitors.
After the lunch break, the awarding of the daring competitors followed who participated in the tender. The Florentine event, as already announced, had a connotation of solidarity, aimed precisely at raising funds to be allocated to the Onlus “Per l'Amore di Matteo Coveri” Association. A gesture of high social value to which the Club, together with the CCT, the volunteers of the Circolo Piattello Green, the hunters and all the visitors wanted to demonstrate with their participation and solidarity simply by taking part in the beautiful and excellent social lunch organized by the volunteers of the Club.
