Official delivery
On Monday, September 7, 2026, an important moment of solidarity was held at the UMBRAGROUP SpA headquarters in Foligno: the official delivery of the funds raised during the Pink Cup 2026 to the Valter Baldaccini Foundation. The FITAV delegation, led by President Luciano Rossi, accompanied by his wife Laura, and Federal Councilors Christine Maria Brescacin and Roberta Pelosi, was welcomed by Dr. Beatrice Baldaccini, President of the Foundation and Vice President of UMBRAGROUP SpA, by Engineer Reno Ortolani, member of the Founders' Council and President of UMBRAGROUP SpA, and by Dr. Paola Taglietti, a Foundation collaborator.
Social inclusion
The Pink Cup, the brainchild of Vice President Emanuela Bonomi Croce and Councilors Brescacin and Pelosi, is an event that combines sport, community, and solidarity. For the 2026 edition, the organizers have chosen to support the project "A Job for the Mothers of Mathare," an initiative dedicated to social inclusion and support for women in difficult circumstances. The initiative is promoted by the Valter Baldaccini Foundation, established in 2015 in memory of Valter Baldaccini, entrepreneur and one of the founders of UMBRAGROUP. Its mission is to restore independence and dignity to the most vulnerable through family support, educational programs, and job placement projects.
Sports and socialising
The amount raised through athlete registration fees and delivered earlier this week was €2.820. This is a tangible sign of how sport and community can contribute to the common good (source: Italian Clay Pigeon Shooting Federation).
