Competition for pointing and hunting dogs
A success (and not just the winner). Rossella Petrucci triumphed in the third edition of the Il Butale trophy, a competition for pointing and hunting dogs on partridges without shooting, organized by the municipal section of Pistoia of the Federcaccia in Spignana, in the locality of Il Butale, in the municipality of San Marcello Piteglio. The competition saw a notable participation of competitors, assisted by valid auxiliaries. The numerous participants, the people in tow and the magnificent setting of the Upper Pistoia Apennines have decreed the success of an event which will be held again next year, as assured by the president of the municipal section of Pistoia, Paolo Luconi.
Excellent climate
The rankings, drawn up by the FIdC judge Marco Fabbri and his precious assistant Elena Basciu, did not give rise to any complaints from the competitors. “Also for this, we must thank the judge and assistant for their expertise. They allowed the race to go off smoothly in an excellent climate, made magical by the magnificent coolness of the mountain after days of torrid heat as well as by the strong desire to resume dog training by hunters", commented the organizers.
The customary thanks
“We thank all the participants, the Savigni company, on whose splendid terrain the test took place, and all those who set up the initiative very well – the words of the top manager of the municipal section, Luconi -. Greetings from all the members of the municipal section and a big good luck to all hunters for the hunting season now upon us ". The occasion was also propitious to recall that the headquarters of Federcaccia Toscana municipal section of Pistoia has been transferred to Via Corrado Zanzotto 117 in Sant'Agostino, on the outskirts of the city. From next 16 August, the offices will be open from Monday to Friday from 8 to 13 and from 15 to 18, while on Saturday from 8 to 13. It is important to know that the municipal section of Pistoia lends itself to collecting the hunting cards at the municipal structure (source: FIDC).
