As part of an investigation coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court of Gela, today the men of the Niscemi Police Station are carrying out dozens of house searches against as many suspects, following a decree issued by the Public Prosecutor's Office Republic. At this moment the investigating bodies are carrying out investigations conducted for the hypothesis of a false ideological crime in public deed and fraud against public bodies, against numerous hunters, who allegedly falsified the payment receipts (postal bills) , relating to the payment of government and regional concession fees and / or payment of the premium of the compulsory insurance policy, documents necessary to obtain qualifications for the exercise of hunting (hunting card and rifle port license), relating to the hunting seasons 2011-2012 and 2012-2013.
Through the fraudulent conduct, the subjects saved the sums necessary for the payment of the legal charges, amounting to several hundred euros for each item. Investigators are looking for evidence relating to the forgery of the aforementioned payment receipts, as well as anything that may have been used to falsify the aforementioned documents.
The investigation appears to be connected to a similar verification activity carried out by the investigators aimed at shedding light on the same hypotheses of crime put in place to obtain the legal qualifications for the exercise of hunting in the 2013-2014 hunting season, an activity that also on that occasion it led to the execution of about 50 searches against as many suspects.
