They are accused of having altered their weapons to make them more efficient and lethal, but above all to ensure that they were silent and therefore their noise did not alert gamekeepers or frighten wild animals; furthermore, the four are accused of the illegal killing of some wild animals in the woods of the Alta Valle Camonica. Now they have been denounced by the carabinieri of the Ponte di Legno station in collaboration with the men and women of the hunting body of the Brescia provincial police. A 41 year old from Temù ended up in trouble on Saturday morning; a 29-year-old, a 46-year-old and a 38-year-old from Ponte di Legno, accused of the offenses of weapon alteration, failure to keep weapons, failure to report the change of the place of possession of weapons and failure to report possession of ammunition.
The measures were triggered following an investigation which between March and April of this year led to the arrest of six people accused of possession of clandestine, modified weapons and parts and ammunition of weapons of war, used for poaching. which unfortunately is particularly widespread in Alta Valcamonica and mostly concerns ungulates. During the checks, a pistol, two rifles and two carbines were confiscated. These are weapons regularly reported but all modified and prepared, through reworking of the barrels, for the attachment of silencing devices.
