The regional section of the Toscana of Italian Federation of Hunting released the details of the calendar of the seventh edition of Mediavalle and Garfagnana Apennine Trophy, a series of aptitude competitions for hunting and pointing dogs. The aptitude tests will take place in mountain locations with game introduced: the territory will be that of the splendid Serchio Valley. The total appointments will be six, with the Sundays in July and the first Sunday in August which will be enlivened by very interesting competitions.
It will start on July 2nd in Molazzana, to be precise in Cavallina with the special "Springer", while a week later it will be the turn of Castiglione di Garfagnana, at the Colli-Montecastagni with another special, that "Kurzaar". On July 16, the calendar includes the special "Breton" in Gallicano ai Tre Canali, while on July 23 it will move to Barga on Monte Omo. The tests in July will end on the 30th with the appointment of Castelnuovo Garfagnana (Garganella locality).
The Trophy will end on August 6 with the San Pellegrino classic “Il Giro” and lo special "Setter". The species of game introduced will be three, namely gray partridges, partridges and pheasants. As for the categories, there will also be three, that is "Garisti", "Hunters" and "Young". The goal will be to put game on free land and all sporting dog lovers will be able to participate with completely free registration.
