A little bit of enthusiasm
Despite the usual mass of last-minute animal rights appeals, permitted both by a preferential legislation that makes them totally free, and by a law such as the 157/92 that even today, after 32 years, there is no political and scientific courage to update, we will finally go back to hunting! Unfortunately, not in all regions and for very few species, but this is enough to restore a little enthusiasm to Italian hunters who are among the most harassed and penalized in Europe.
A ridiculous charade
Libera Caccia has always criticized - at least in some of its parts - the current legislation and will continue to fight, with all its strength, with all means and in every place, to put an end to this ridiculous August farce, restoring to Italian hunters that certainty of the law that should be the basis of civil coexistence, guaranteeing all citizens the same dignity.
A scientific re-examination
The hunting calendars established by law represent the first and most important goal that we of Libera Caccia want to reach as soon as possible, while waiting for a more organic and scientific review of a now stale law that does not take into consideration the enormous changes that have occurred in recent years, starting with the now unsustainable number of wild fauna - often problematic for the economy, health and public safety - which must be managed with rigorous technical criteria and not dictated by the unmotivated hysteria of the most fundamentalist animalism. While waiting for the general opening, I am pleased to extend my warmest greetings to our members and to all Italian hunters (Paolo Sparvoli - national president of ANLC).
