There are three exponents of Brothers of Italy who have decided to present a bill to reform the revocation of the firearms license. The legislative text is intended to change once and for all thearticle 43 of the Consolidated Law on Public Safety Laws (TULPS), given that often some sentences have made us turn up our noses. In this way there could be substantial changes regarding the criminal convictions and rehabilitations of license holders.
Maria Cristina Caretta, Monica Ciaburro and Salvatore Deidda they presented this legislative proposal to the House and there should be a discussion on it shortly. The three signatories would like a "heavy" amendment to Article 43. Rehabilitated subjects could do so obtain or retain a firearm license without any distinction as to the extent of the crime committed.
Parliamentary work will have to resume in a few days, to be precise next 10 September (except for last-minute emergencies) and it will be understood how much the bill can have a follow-up. The last unfavorable sentence in the matter of firearms license was pronounced by Council of State, according to which the license cannot be granted and justified by a series of reports of theft suffered (the case examined was that of an entrepreneur from Brescia).
