Under the thick covering of the forest, in an atmosphere suspended between silence and emotion, I had the opportunity to try the brand new Pulsar Thermion 2 thermal riflescope during a day of deer hunting. Distributed in Italy by Adinolfi of Monza (MI), this exceptional instrument, equipped with cutting-edge technical features, offered me a one-of-a-kind hunting experience.
Il Pulsar Thermion 2 XQ35 Pro Thermal Riflescope, with its adjustable magnification from 2,5x to 10x and a detection range of 1.400 meters, allowed it to scrutinize the surrounding terrain in incredible detail. Its thermal sensitivity superior to the competition, with a NETD value of less than 25mK, guaranteed me perfect detail recognizability, even in adverse weather conditions and at great distances.
Thanks to his High quality germanium optics with fast f1.0 aperture, thermal energy is transmitted optimally, minimizing noise and improving the details of the observed scene. This means that even the smallest temperature differences in observed objects can be clearly visible, even during heavy rain, dense fog or cold mornings.
One aspect that I particularly appreciated about the Pulsar Thermion 2 was its extraordinary battery life. In fact, thanks to the combined system of internal and external Li-ion batteries, I was able to use the spotting scope for 10 hours of continuous use on a single charge. Furthermore, the presence of a rechargeable external battery that can be replaced in a few seconds guaranteed me additional use time during our hunt.
Wi-Fi integration with iOS and Android devices via the free Stream Vision 2 application it represented a significant added value during my hunting experience. This feature allowed me to wirelessly update the device's software, transmit real-time images to my mobile device's screen, and remotely control the scope's digital functions. Additionally, I was able to take advantage of the cloud storage to save photos and videos captured during the hunt. 
But what makes the Pulsar Thermion 2 really special?
The answer lies in his incredible field of vision, which translate into a Unprecedented detection distance, up to 2,300 meters, even in complete darkness. The Thermion 2 provided me with a clear and smooth image when observing on the move thanks to the High definition HD AMOLED display with 1024×768 resolution. Furthermore, I had a choice of 8 color palettes, which allowed me to optimize the observation based on the different environmental conditions.
During the hunt, I was able to take advantage of the module Built-in Wi-Fi to connect to my smartphone and take advantage of the “Picture-in-picture” function of the Pulsar Thermion 2. This mode allowed me to display a high-precision crosshair, taking up only 10% of the total display area, allowing me to focus on the target and have visual control of the entire field of view at once.
I can't forget to mention the water resistance of the Pulsar Thermion 2, with an IPX7 rating which guarantees its operation even in conditions of high humidity or heavy rain. Furthermore, its ability to resist the most powerful calibers, up to .375 H&H, 12 gauge and 9.3×64, makes this scope reliable and resistant in every hunting situation.
During the deer hunt, I had the opportunity to fully exploit all the potential of the Pulsar Thermion 2 XQ35 Pro. Its exceptional detection range, thermal imaging clarity and the ability to customize settings based on environmental conditions they allowed me to get closer to my goal with precision and effectiveness.
La convenience of using the Thermion 2 It was another aspect that struck me. Easily mounting it onto standard 30mm rings without the need for specialized tools, I was able to fully concentrate on hunting without having to worry about complex mounting procedures. 
Furthermore, the ergonomics of the telescope it has been specifically designed to guarantee a comfortable and safe grip, even in adverse weather conditions or during rapid movements. Our test was performed in light rain and during a traveling hunting experience. We moved on foot in several areas of the woods and did not even notice the weight of the scope on our rifle, this makes the Thermion 2 also suitable for intense use and in the mountains, where the weight of the equipment plays an important role.
During my hunting experience with the Pulsar Thermion 2, I was able to appreciate its versatility thanks to the possibility of choosing between 10 different reticle shapes and 9 color modes. This allowed me to adapt the scope to different hunting situations and always obtain maximum visibility of my target.
