Protest in Piazza De Ferrari
Yesterday some animal rights activists broke into the headquarters of the Liguria region to protest against the killing of wild boars. These are the activists of the well-known "Centopercentoanimalisti" association, no stranger to demonstrations of this kind and which displayed a series of banners and posters.
The arrival of the police
“Liguria of blood”, “Servants of hunters”, “Shame”, “Hands off wild boars”: these are the phrases that could be read in the local authority headquarters in Piazza De Ferrari. The police then proceeded to identify the demonstrators who were asked to leave.
The statements of the militants
These are the declarations of animal rights activists: "The policy of extermination of wild boars continues in Liguria, wild boars that have never attacked anyone, which do not cause damage, and whose presence is due to the hunters who reintroduced them and who have become the target of the moment , the scapegoat to be sacrificed, also to divert attention from the many real problems”.
