The 36th Bednarik Memorial
The 2024 Fitav Federal Ranking continues to provide excitement. The occasion is the International Grand Prix of the Czech Republic, 36th Memorial Bednarik, in which the best Olympic Trap shooters will compete Skeet last season. A total of 23 athletes are leaving for Brno, specifically 15 men and 12 women. The race will take place over the weekend of Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 June, with official training on Friday 13 June.
The protagonists
Diego Valeri (Navy) from Artena (RM), Emanuele Buccolieri (Fiamme Oro) from San Pancrazio (BR), Lorenzo Ferrari (Fiamme Oro) from Provaglio d'Iseo (BS), Fabio Sollami from Caltanissetta, Alessandro Esposito (Fiamme Azzurre) from Tivoli (RM), Martina Grioni (Carabinieri) from Garlasco (PV), Erica Sessa (Fiamme Oro) from Cava de' Tirreni (SA), Alessandra Della Valle (Fiamme Oro) from Solaro (MI), Sofia Littamè (Air Force) from Baoine (PD), Gaia Ragazzini (Carabinieri) from Lavezzola (RA) and Isabella Cristiani (Navy) from San Giuliano Terme (PI) will be competing on the platform for the Olympic Trench. They will be accompanied by the Federal Coach Rodolfo Viganò.
The skeet
For Skeet there will be Domenico Simeone (Fiammo Oro) from Baia and Latina (CE), Emanuele Fuso (Army) from Spello (PG), Francesco Bernardini (Fiamme Oro) from Fara in Sabina (RI), Cristian Ciccotti (Carabinieri) from Rome, Andrea Galardini (Fiamme Oro) from Calenzano (FI), Michael Palmieri from Ostra (AN), Gerardo Ricciardi from Polla (SA), Eros Marcellini from Rome, Giovanni Di Bari from Taranto, Damina Paolacci (Fiamme Oro) from Rome, Claudia Fortunati from Rome and Sara Bongini (Fiamme Oro) from Impruneta (FI). In this case the accompanying technician is Pierluigi Pescosolido. The Italian delegation will also be joined by the National Technical Director of the Olympic Trench Marco Conti and the Italian athletes Mauro De Filippis (Fiamme Oro) from Taranto, Giovanni Pellielo (Fiamme Azzurre) from Vercelli and Massimo Fabbrizi (Carabinieri) from Monteprandone (AP) who will participate in a personal capacity (Source FITAV).
