Redolfi Armi is a family-run business celebrating nearly 75 years of business. Its history dates back to 1951, when Arturo Redolfi opened his hunting gun repair and manufacturing workshop in Manerbio, in the lower Brescia area. The history of Redolfi Armi is typical of the area and its time: Arturo acquired the expertise needed to manufacture fine double-barreled guns at Lorenzotti and Faverzani's workshop in Brescia. The first "Ra" brand hunting rifles, primarily side-by-sides featuring both Anson & Deeley and Holland & Holland action mechanisms with sidelocks, were aimed at local customers. However, with growing demand and the arrival of his son Rodolfo, production increased and the company expanded to the rest of Italy.
The famous express
In the 1980s, production of the Express began, especially with side-by-side barrels, in various calibers and in many versions: numbers increased rapidly and the Ra brand soon became recognized for its reliability and precision.
In the 90s, with the arrival of his other son, Mauro, the company expanded from gun manufacturing and repair to retail sales of accessories, hunting equipment, and even fishing gear. The gun shop became a go-to place for avid hunters and shooters.

Since 2001, Redolfi Armi has also established itself as a national and international distributor of firearms and equipment for hunting and sport shooting, including accessories, optics, and apparel, with efficient after-sales support. The company continues to manufacture and repair firearms, preserving the roots and experience of its founder. Today, it is the exclusive distributor in Italy for the Spanish rifle brand Bergara, Derya rifles, Vector and Delta Optical optics, and Rti Arms and Fx pre-charged air rifles (PCP).

Family passion
The company's philosophy is based on the Redolfi family's passion, a constant search for the best products, and a transparent and caring relationship with their customers. The company has grown gradually, always relying on the support of family members and employees. «Although the future for this sector is very uncertain, especially with regards to the hunting world», explains fifty-nine-year-old Mauro Redolfi, «I believe there is still room for growth, even if this requires development and the search for new opportunities».

The new challenges lie in meeting the needs of new hunters and shooters, who have literally changed in recent years compared to the past. New technologies are almost mandatory; latest-generation optics, rangefinders, night vision devices, thermal imaging devices, and everything else that can be added to the technical spectrum are an integral part of the hunting world. The same applies to sport shooting with rifles or pistols, where advances in materials, calibers, and configurations allow shooters to perform a variety of shooting styles and categories. Last but not least, the world of PCP, which, while still a niche market, shows significant promise for the future.
The new challenges
His son, Diego, 31, "worked his way up," as they say, starting as a warehouse worker at 19 and maintaining the position as his responsibilities increased, until his cousin Fabio took over the role. He is the future of Redolfi Armi. I currently handle sales and shipping of all accessories, optics, luggage, and clothing. Over the years, my father and the shop staff have taught me so much, and I've been able to better manage the website, management, social media, trade shows, and the company's image. I've introduced innovations I'm proud of..

The family tradition, including hunting, is preserved because Diego has always hunted with his grandfather and father, Mauro, in the hunting lodges in the Cremonese and Brescia areas. He even has a few clay pigeons on his resume.
Naturally, the typical customer today is more evolved than in the past… «Today's hunting clientele is proving to be more demanding, more attentive to innovation, but above all more informed», Mauro explains further. "Our company dedicates a lot of space to information, on social media and the web, and organizes events that directly engage end users, who will then turn to their trusted suppliers.".

Redolfi Armi has always interpreted change gradually and carefully. Arms work, however, retains a romantic aspect, an expression of passion. I started working in the firearms world at 14, and I can honestly say that without passion, it's difficult to continue this profession. I've always been passionate about guns, and even today, when I come across a unique piece, I'm still thrilled. Over the years, we've passed that same feeling on to our son and our employees. Times have changed, bureaucracy is increasingly difficult and demanding, and we need to work harder than in the past, and our professionalism must shine through even more..
