A focal point
Until now, our Association has kept itself out of the fray surrounding the various official and unofficial drafts of the reform of Law 157/92 . We have maintained the seriousness that has always distinguished us, holding firm to one central point: the defense of social, public, and sustainable hunting. Refusing to listen to opposing extremists, we have waited until we had read an official text, without pontificating on drafts that have emerged from some drawer.
Hands on ATCs
Now, having read the text submitted to the Senate, we cannot help but note an unacceptable opening to the privatization of hunting and an attempt by politicians to get their hands on ATCs even more, perhaps trying to give someone an advantage in terms of representation. Law 157/92 needs a global review that improves it and adapts it to the times, without distorting its fundamental principles. For this reason, we appeal to all politicians, so that these blitzes, aimed at modifying paragraphs in no particular order, often and willingly with results that are anything but brilliant, cease and that we proceed to open a discussion for a serious and organic review of what continues to be an excellent law.
No to ideological prejudices
Arci Caccia remains available for any possibility of serious discussion with all political forces that want to work without ideological prejudices, we are waiting for a call, remembering that the Association is represented through the positions taken by the management groups and certainly not by isolated voices looking for prominence.
