La Italian Federation of Hunting published a note in which he spoke of the discussion of these days at the House of Representatives of Framework Law on Protected Areas. The proposal must also pass to the Senate before final approval and it will no longer be possible to go back to the articles and paragraphs that the Chamber has not modified. The statements of the last few hours are reassuring, but the changes do not convince the hunting world.
In particular, the inclusion of Natura 2000 sites in the areas pertaining to the park, the transfer of powers on hunting from regions to park bodies, access to the contiguous areas allowed only to residents in the municipalities within the park and the establishment of the Po Delta National Park these are changes that for Federcaccia will become a fatal blow for aquatic hunting and not only. This is why the e-mail addresses of the rapporteurs of the law and of the group leaders of the Chamber have been indicated, in order to sign a message with the signature at the bottom.
The requests concern the four points just mentioned. In particular, the rule on Natura 2000 sites does not comply with Italian and European law, furthermore the competences should remain with the regions, as required by the Constitution. Finally, the letter serves to ask for the elimination of article 27, the one that establishes the Park of the Po Delta with its contiguous areas.
