A proven team
The first regional hare championship of the Federcaccia Toscana UCT, which recently concluded in Poggibonsi, in the province of Siena, was a resounding success. The Federcaccia-UCT Poggibonsi organization, a well-established team, lived up to expectations once again this year.
Best score of the day
Three single batteries, three pair batteries and one pack battery competed, in addition to access to the next stages of the championship, in the prestigious Città di Poggibonsi trophy, awarded to the dog with the best score of the day. The prize was awarded to the Italian smooth-haired hound Argo, owned by Mr. Martelloni, as the youngest dog to have achieved a score of 164.
The contribution of volunteers
Marco Radi, secretary of the Federcaccia-UCT Provincial of Siena, was present at the awards ceremony and did not fail to thank the volunteers who work in the facilities for the great work they do, and without which it would not be possible to hold successful events like this one (source: Federcaccia).
