For about two weeks the activities of the ringing station of the Mount Pizzoc, to be precise in the province of Treviso. The autumn migration is in full swing and the first days of catches are scheduled from 13 September until next 7 November, have been characterized by a good variety of species and by a number of specimens that are leaving satisfied. The pace is continuing, albeit with some intermittence due to the rain and fog that often lingers on the top of Pizzoc.
La blackberry tit (Periparus ater) is the most captured species, but there is no lack of variety of species. Among the birds of prey, well present in this beginning, we had the surprising visit of a kestrel with a ring of the Slovakia!
