Ten Olympic medals, a truly remarkable booty. Beretta has managed to win many podiums over the course of the Rio de Janeiro Games which have just ended thanks to the athletes who represented the Gardone Val Trompia brand, an excellent result that would be the envy of any nation. This is well four golds (the same conquered, for comparison, by a large important country like Canada), four silvers and two bronzes.
If the Beretta were included in the final medal table it would even be in nineteenth place, a better position than states such as Argentina, Sweden and Denmark. The same company has conquered all this thanks to a perfect work of professionals, who have collaborated side by side with athletes and coaches. Who are we talking about specifically?
Gold medals were won by Diana Bacosi (Skeet Women), Gabriel Rossetti (Skeet Men), Australian Catherine Skinner (Trap Women) and Croatian Josip Glasnovic (Trap Men). Then there are the silvers of Giovanni Pelielo (Trap Men), Marco Innocenti (Double Trap Men), Chiara Cainero (Skeet Women) and New Zealander Natalie Rooney (Trap Women). The balance can be concluded with the bronzes of the American Kimberly Rhode (Skeet Women) and Ahmed Al Rashidi, a shooter from the United Arab Emirates who competed without a flag in the men's Skeet.
We can therefore understand how there was a real domination, with entire podiums won thanks to the and many Italian shooters who have well represented our country. Ugo Gussalli Beretta, honorary president of the group, wanted to underline the greatness of the emotions experienced in Rio, declaring himself happy that FITAV has given the most important contribution to the Team Italia medal table. The Beretta's all-time medal table thus reached 47 (18 golds, 15 silvers and 14 bronzes).
