A bunch of boars entered an apartment building not far from the downtown Rome and devastated him. It happened in the Vale Aurelia area, behind the Vatican and at the foot of the Monte Ciocci park, a green area adjacent to the larger one of the Pineto park. Two adult females and 8 children entered from one of the pedestrian entrances of a former Ater complex that stands right in front of the Aura shopping center and they knocked over pots, attacked the tenants' dogs and frightened the children who at that time were playing in the garden of the condominium. Only the intervention of the police made it possible to remove the wild boars.
The administrator of the condominium, which includes twenty six-storey buildings, has requested the urgent intervention of RomeNature, the body that manages the natural heritage in the municipal area of Rome, for the closure of the boundaries of the Pineto park on the Via Patetta side, from where the wild boars cross the park and reach the real estate complexes. It is certainly not the first time that wild boars have come into Rome, but so far the phenomenon had affected peripheral and semi-peripheral areas. North Rome, but also the Pariolli are now a land of conquest for the animals that threaten the residents (AGI).
