The reporting of the CCT
We share with pleasure the report written by Massimo Marzocchi, one of the organizers of the evening, on conference held yesterday in Rosignano (LI), dedicated to the Woodcock. The initiative was attended, in addition to the regional secretary of the CCT Marco Romagnoli who opened the works, numerous territorial and local managers of the confederate associations, who, together with the numerous hunters who took part and the institutional representatives of the territory, attended the report by Alessandro Tedeschi of the National Federcaccia Studies and Research Office, on various topics related to the species (The CCT Secretariat).
Massimo Marzocchi's story
"The conference on the woodcock Scolopax Rusticola took place yesterday, Saturday 3 September, in the conference room of the Piazza del Mercato in Rosignano Solvay. The presence and interventions of the councilors of the municipality of Rosignano Vincenzo Brogi and Alice Prinetti and the introduction of the regional secretary of the CCT Marco Romagnoli, framed the report by the president of the "Amici di Scolopax" association, Alessandro Tedeschi, who involved , interested and, at times excited, a large and attentive audience of fans of this beautiful animal. It was an opportunity to draw on the knowledge, experiences and knowledge of a researcher like Tedeschi who with his passion and dedication is opening the doors to a world unknown to us and until recently very fictional world of woodcock, its habits and its incredible migrations ".
The beginning of an important journey
"The commitment we would like to make is that this is only the first of many other meetings with Tedeschi but also with everything related to science at the service of our passion. The organization thanks all the participants, the councilors Brogi and Prinetti, Dr. Romagnoli, the Municipality of Rosignano Marittimo and the Regional Federcaccia and, aware that we will hardly be able to express all our appreciation for this evening but above all for everything in words. what he has done, what he is doing and what we hope we can do together with Alessandro Tedeschi we only want to hope that this was the beginning of a path that can lead us to greater knowledge and greater respect for the woodcock".
